A Whispering Spirit

<p>This body of work is an eclectic gathering of poetry. ( of feelings written down.) It covers a wide range of topics and stirs the emotions of those who open its pages. </p><p>This wide collection of poems is a comment on the rhythm of life for those who share in it. </p><p>Annie's poetry is a collection of images thoughts and insights into the heart of a listening poet. These pieces of work tell the stories of laughter pain joy and suffering that is all around us. </p><p>You will find a reflection on relationships between people other creatures and all things that breathe.</p><p>Some poems explore how an object such as a piece of fabric a rock orchid a humble spider or the insect world can poke the spirit to tell its story. </p><p>There is humor in some of these pieces of work; such as 'the constipated Dog' 'Jack' and 'Daddy Long Legs'. </p><p>Profound sorrow can be found in 'The Empty Billy Can'. 'Never More.' and Mary Ann' These are real people who came with stories for the poet. </p><p>In the poem 'In The Kitchen' there is a story of old fashion wisdom and great love. </p><p>Children too can find a friend in 'The Kangaroo Carer' who takes in injured and orphaned joeys and gives them a loving home.
