Matt is trying to help his best friend Bob through a writer's block -involving him in a local mystery involving an inhabitant whoappears to be over-150 years old...They begin to piece together a number of clues by speaking to a rathereccentric librarian named Emily and her assistant Kirsten who arecolleagues of Matt's from the upstairs Reference section of the library.Meanwhile Bob's wife - Debs - isn't coping so well with her husbandgallivanting around the town at all hours of the night and she hasconfided her concerns to her trusty Aunt Alice...Much to Deb's dismay Alice takes a far deeper interest in the wholematter than she had ever imagined - tracing Bob and Matt's footstepsto try and discover what exactly they have been up to!Meanwhile elsewhere - things are really beginning to get out of hand...Will the clues come together to provide an answer?Will Bob's marriage survive their adventure?What does a strange man named CB know about the whole matter?So much about the past remains in the shadows -Is this one mystery which simply refuses to be solved?
