Although this is a new mystery our main characters from the Julie Avery Mystery Trilogy will still be with us. Our heroine Julie is now married to her longtime friend and love of her life Brandon Jenkins and they are living happily in their big Tudor home with their new born baby. They are joined by housekeeper Florine who becomes an important part of the family. Julie has been in the process of having the old mansion renovated when several unusually disturbing happenings upset the peace. Julie's publisher and dear friend Richard Beasley remains in the story along with friends from the West End Manor as well as Detective Don Graverton who always gets the job done.
