Arjun the third amongst the pandavas stands for his skill of archery and is considered as one of the greatest warriors. the distinguished fighter however felt confused when the famous Mahabharat war was about to begin on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. He turned to his charioteer lord krishna for enlightenment. the lord cleared all his doubts through the most instructive and interesting discourses that came to be known as the Bhagvad Gita. The author believes that in the present times our position is no better than Arjun. We face various problems in day to day life and like arjun can not make up our minds on how to solve them. Ignorance misrule corruption double standards and many such factors make our mundane life difficult. The author draws up parallel examples from the Mahabharata and attempts to offer solutions. the treatment of the themes in the essays is like that of art buchwald whose humour makes one smile and be serious at the same time.
