‘Abuse Me Not’ is a book about child abuse which is much prevalent these days. Child abuse is a much more serious and heinous crime. Sexual abuse of children is disturbing an unimaginable crime but the unfortunate reality is that it exists. When children do not feel safe their other rights are endangered. While it is the responsibility of us adults to be the primary safeguards to care for and protect the interests of children. In this book I have mentioned different types of abuse their symptoms effects prevalence and prevention. Protecting children from abuse and neglect is a worthy goal. The purpose of this book is to reduce the amount of abuse and neglect and make this world a better place for our children to live in. The book suggests the child safety measures too. About the Author: DR SHIVANI DUTT BHAMBRI Dr. Shivani’s previous book includes “WHEN REJECTION STINGS” in which Dr Bhambri covered all the prevailing issues like anger management happiness criticism rejection and about our diminished values etc. Dr Bhambri is a positive thinker and she tried to concentrate on positivity in her previous book. An alumna of one of the most prestigious colleges of Delhi University Indraprastha College for Women Dr. Shivani Bhambri has completed her graduation in Psychology from Delhi University. She opted for psychology as her domain to gain more knowledge and insight in this subject as she feels there is a need to help and guide people to lead their lives in a holistic and positive manner. Dr. Bhambri has completed her Master’s and M. Phil in Applied Psychology and Counseling Psychology respectively. She went on to complete her doctoral degree in Positive Psychology. In her latest book “ABUSE ME NOT” Dr Bhambri talked about complex issues like child abuse which is a heinous crime.
