The process of recognition of learning acquired through everyday experience - RAE represents the opportunity to academically recognise the competences acquired through different sources of learning both in young people and adults with difficulties of access to the University System; in the same way it is a way of recognising the knowledge that is the product of national and international cooperation exchanges.Furthermore the Humanist Universities would consider the RAE as a mechanism for inclusion and social mobility a way of facilitating access to and continuation of higher studies and a way of making visible and valuing hidden and unrecognized competencies; with which they would contribute to improving the self-esteem and well-being of people at the same time motivating them to continue learning in the Formal Education System and to strengthen their job opportunities with which these universities would facilitate the construction of a society respectful of Human and Social Rights.
