Access to basic sports facilities in India. A survey of 12 universities in Haryana

Research Paper (postgraduate) from the year 2015 in the subject Sport - Sport Sociology Central University of Haryana (central university of haryana) course: Ph.D political science language: English abstract: The study is an attempt to examine the perception of university students regarding the access to basic sports facilities in Haryana. A survey targeting youths was conducted in 12 UGC recognized universities in Haryana of which 11 are State Universities and 1 is the Central University. The total sample size of the study is 432 university students. The study found that there is a significant difference between gender and accessibility of sports facilities.
