About The Book

This study investigated factors associated with access to sexual and reproductive health information and services among schoolgirls in the Kadutu Urban Health Zone.The study was a cross-sectional analysis of a sample of 384 schoolgirls. Data were collected using a survey questionnaire deployed on kobocollect software.Results: mean age: 16.38 ± 1.07 mean household size: 8 ± 2.5; 58.1%. Factors associated with access to sexual and reproductive health information and services for girls attending school were: students' level of education (p=0.012; OR [1.82(1.132-2.92)]) parents' level of education ( p=0.000; OR[3.72(2.29-6.06)]); level of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health (p=0.000 ; OR[431(237-786)] );parents' income level( p=0000 ; OR[357(217-589)] ); awareness of sexual and reproductive health by health authorities is significant ( p=0000 ; OR[276(171-449)]).
