Acne and Its Impact on Quality of Life

This book is the result of a research project on Acne and its impact on the quality of life of girls'' students aged 15-35 years in Herat city- Afghanistan.The research population for this study includes both school and university students which were randomly selected.This included both physical examination and interviewing of the participants. The study was mainly performed by the Dermatology Department of Herat Regional Hospital which was supported and agreed upon by IRB the Ministry of Higher Eduction and the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan.One consultant dermatologist and 2 residents were responsible for data collection field visits interviews and physical examinations of the study population. The standard formats and questioners were applied such as DLQI Cardif and GAAG scoring system in order to ensure that the study findings would be published internationally. Study findings were shared with relevant authorities in order to facilitate future research and executive planning.
