Acquisitions and Mergers of companies in the context of globalization

The book reflects on the puzzling concept of globalization one of the most debated notion in the contemporary study of international relations. Polemic views on globalization and the manner in which we attempt to make sense of the world stand as motivation in the endeavor of filling-in the myopic understandings on the topic. The pivotal point of the current study then swifts towards an application of the contemporary phenomenon of mergers and acquisition: the case study on the U.S. building control and smart industry with Johnson Controls and Tyco as core companies. As a personal memo the author finds that the current study captivating by the very topic that endeavors to assess as little academic literature examines the globalization thru the lens of a kaleidoscope underlining the interplay between the positive and negative phenomenon’s facets.
