Activities for Reading Comprehension Skill in English lessons

English lessons for college students should contribute to the student´s general and integral formation. Reading skill is very important for enriching learner´s psychological process such as analysis synthesis comparison generalization memory imagination vocabulary and logical thinking and it is also the most affected skill in the teaching learning process. Different theoretical methods were used during this investigation: inductive-deductive analytic -synthetic systemically approach and documental analysis. Several empirical methods were used: scientific observation survey to the students interview to the teachers and pedagogical test. Finally statistical and mathematical methods were applied. The obtained results were taken into account in the initial phase and methodological aspects were offered for designing the set of activities. The results of the applied instruments in the final phase proved students´ advance these ones developed competences related to reading comprehension. The set of activities presented is practical motivating creative and stimulate the students’ independence during the learning of foreign language.
