Adherence to treatment for systemic arterial hypertension

In this book the authors review the state of the art and information on hypertension its prevalence the level of knowledge the extent of its control and treatment in order to design and implement policies aimed at reducing mortality and the loss of years due to disability caused by hypertension. Studies are presented on the application of technology to assess hypertensive patients' adherence to treatment the results of multidisciplinary intervention its interaction with other cardiovascular risk factors and some aspects of the updated international guidelines for its management.
