One of the major difficulties in restorative dentistry is to recieve an effective seal between a tooth and restoration.The advent of adhesion to hard tissues of the tooth was a turning point and featured new era in dental field.The quality and stability of adhesive interfaces in enamel and/or dentin plays major role in long term clinical success of composite resinsporcelain and other restorations .Undoubtedlythe current concept of minimal invasive dentistry was determined by a significant improvement in dental adhesive technology.In this book it has been discussed about the basic concept of bonding classification of adhesives i.e. mandatory to provide an overview of the current field and the recent advances in bonding systems.
