<p><em>Admiral of Earth</em> introduces Marjory nar Drewflin the greatest Battle Mage of Ennaris and one of the heroes of the <em>Children of Ennaris</em>. Not only that it recounts events preceding that story. If you are yet to read <em>Children of Ennaris</em> do so now!</p><p></p><p>However <em>Admiral of Earth</em> stands alone as a story.</p><p></p><p>Over many tens of thousands of years Earth was lifted to civilisation by Ennaris the oldest and most advanced civilisation of the galaxy. Unfortunately Ennaris was almost destroyed during a rebellion by the Mage Goroth. Although he was placed into captivity this will fail shortly with few to oppose him.</p><p></p><p>However a prophesy offers hope - the Children who are believed to hale from Earth will return to Ennaris and lead the fight against the resurgent Goroth.</p><p></p><p>But in the present the young Earth-led Union is in dire straits under threat from the might of the Empire led by Likud Goroth's former lieutenant. The Earth fleet is no match for the powerful Empire vessels and the Guardians of Ennaris fear that Earth may be destroyed before the Children can be born. If the Union Fleet cannot stand against the ruthless Empire's larger far more powerful ships it will be decimated. Only with its survival and that of the Earth-led Union can the Children in turn help Ennaris to survive.</p><p></p><p>Marjory Ennaris' greatest Battle Mage is tasked by the Guardians to save Earth and thus ensure that the Children can exist.</p><p></p><p><em>Admiral of Earth</em> is the story of how she aided by the most advanced ship-based AI ever developed tries to turn the ragtag under-powered Union fleet into an advanced and capable force able to successfully oppose the Likud Empire.
