Adoption of Cassava Technology for Sustainable Livelihoods

The cassava technology that was extended to the farmers was expected to improve their livelihoods as they have alternate income generating activities to ensure family food security. The farmers could not continue the use of the new cassava varieties because the government could not provide the necessary support with regards to the marketing of the accompanying high yields from the crop.This book will help governments and other institutions design appropriate technologies for farmers and others at the grassroots levels and provide all the supports needed for sustained adoption.
