Adoption of Innovation

The purpose of this book was to investigate the adoption of ERP tool used by employees within an organization. In achieving this task the authors embarked on a qualitative case study in a manufacturing organization based in Växjö Sweden. Multiple in-depth interviews were carried out with fifteen key employees that utilized an ERP system provided by SAP for daily operation within the organization. Innovation adoption today is in a new phase looking from an employee''s attitudinal and perception towards an acceptance of a given ERP tool at disposal. This book should be interesting to read as it highlights steps businesses or organizations should undertake in order to ensure employees are fully equipped to utilize new ERP tool they purchase. This book highlights the adoption of innovation from an individual employee’s perspective it also shows the importance of an employee having proper knowledge about the specific technology tool. This book reveals how acceptance of technology can enhance individual consumption.
