Advanced Physical Metallurgy of Alloys and Thin Films of Semiconductor

Starting with studies of equilibrium phase diagrams thermal ageing and external stress induced phase transformations in Zn-Al based alloys were investigated. Complex non-equilibrium phase transformations in various processes were also studied. Intrinsic phase relationships between equilibrium and non-equilibrium of alloys under thermal ageing and external stresses were summarized which provides theoretical bases to research and develop advanced processes such as laser processing mechanical alloying ultra-precision cutting electropulsing etc. for surface materials science and thin films of alloys and functional semiconductors.
