Universal adhesive system is the most trending adhesive with a crucial characteristic of the chemical interactions to enhance durability of dentin–resin interfaces. Several studies try to explain this interaction with exposed collagen if not fully encapsulated by the polymerized adhesive monomers demineralized collagen fibrils will be vulnerable to time-dependent hydrolytic degradation by water leaving voids within the hybrid layer or demineralized Nano-channels but we still compromised with wet and dry mode strategy of using universal adhesives.
