Advances in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery

<p>This reprint is dedicated to showcasing innovations in the treatment of traumatized patients. These include modern developments in implants and osteosynthesis materials new approaches and the application of the latest intraoperative technology. Many of these innovations are based on the findings of translational research for example in the field of biomechanics. Therefore this reprint targets multifactorial improvements in trauma and orthopedic surgery with the goal of improving daily clinical practice through scientific recommendations for the benefit of our patients. In addition to the latest clinical care approaches translational topics will also be considered.</p>
