Adventures of and L.A. Ranch Kid

Having survived junior high school in volume one (Adventures of an L.A. Ranch Kid: Horses and Hijinx) Art Rozell moves on to high school where he gets into more crazy shenanigans. His middle sister Birdie both comes to his rescue and serves as an instigator while his mom and dad work hard to stay one step ahead of him. Following on his adventures in elementary school and junior high in Harbor City CA he continues to tell the stories of his life growing up on a small ranch after WWII. In addition to high school he had a short stint in the army where he wrangled with a drill sergeant summer classes at USC resulting in more education than he bargained for junior college at Compton which gave him a life lesson he would never forget and finally Occidental College where he met his future wife as well as some lifelong friends. These stories will surprise and charm people living in a modern world very distant from the one he describes. This is a world where a young man might ride his horse down the interior hall of his high school have a memorable day on the gridiron or learn much more from his lab partner than how to work together to dissect a frog.
