The AFM image revealed that a thick polymer layer had formed indicating that this coating on low nickel stainless steel might provide a good barrier-like impact against the invasion of corrosive species from any environment.2. The electrochemical characterizations carried out using different techniques such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopic studies showed that the optimized coating provided 89 % of corrosion protection efficiency.
