When we watch the world news on television to see what is happening around the globe we only see and understand what the flash of a camera and the blurb of a news correspondent has chosen to show us. Often the reality is only understood by living and experiencing a particular place.</P><P>This memoir is a first hand account of a humanitarian aid worker living and working in Southern Africa. What he thought he signed up for and the reality of what he committed himself to were two totally different things. Robberies murders corrupt officials disease AIDS malaria starvation death and danger were just the beginning of his experience.</P><P>This memoir follows the faith of one individual as he experienced the power and influence of Africa to destroy and take lives in the most horrific ways imaginable. However this memoir also describes the miracles and power of God in a continent that many believe to be abandoned by God. Through each tragedy are miracles and blessings that prove God is working tirelessly in Africa. And because of his never ending love God has not and will not abandon the people of Africa.</P>
