African Abolitionist T. J. Alexander on the Ohio and Indiana Underground Railroads

<P>This book examines Thornton J. Alexander who was a station manager and conductor on the Underground Railroad in Ohio and Indiana. The authors examine how his formative years into adulthood was spent in bondage until he was emancipated in 1816 and how he then purchased land in Ohio and Indiana to facilitate his clandestine emancipation work.</P>
