Africa's Underdevelopment. Who is to Blame?

About The Book

The historical content of the African history as reminisced by some indigenous African literatures is one that is awash with feasible developmental strategies a culture crammed with viable philosophies and a people of great minds. Conversely to these literatures this face of Africa today is delineated with social political and economic malaises. While there have been palliative remedies to the problem one question is often left unasked. This question is what is responsible for Africa’s underdevelopment? it is only painstaking observation to this question that will render workable solutions to the problem. Accordingly this is the main thrust of this study. In order to comprehend why is Africa is swinging within the periphery of underdeveloped continent the study investigated the exogenous and endogamous factors of Africa’s underdevelopment using the internalist and the externalist theory. A synthesis consideration is offered in order to emphasize the need for Africa''s Development
