About The Book

On April 20 1979 Brisbanes historic Belle Vue Hotel was demolished. Over the ensuing forty years a treasured small fragment of the hotel has been carried around the surviving hostelries of the city in a celebratory Pub Crawl. Over-indulgent perhaps but good natured fun with participants numbering in the hundreds over the years. Eventually it became a charity fund-raiser. This is an uncertain history of that annual event.
