Agent-Based Modeling in Humanitarian Interventions

McCaskill characterizes behavior patterns for the various entities operating among the population of a troubled nation where varying degrees of stability operations are being conducted and uses the patterns to create behavioral models. The agent-based modeling runs simulations involving NGO and government coordination policies and their effects during stability and counterinsurgency operations ultimately assessing whether a high level of coordination between military and NGO activities have a force multiplying effect.
