Agrapha

Selected words of Jesus outside of the canonical gospels are presented and examined in this book which is equipped with pictures in a scientifically founded and at the same time understandable way. After some preliminary clarifications with the formulation of criteria for the selection of suitable agrapha and the testing of these criteria on problematic examples outside the canonical gospels first of all some non-evangelical words of Jesus in the New Testament then sayings of Jesus in apocryphal gospels and other early Christian writings are examined which can be placed in every respect alongside the Jesus words of the synoptic gospels.
