AGRICULTURAL INNOVATION AGENDAS OF THE NORTHWEST REGION OF MEXICO

The results of the work carried out within the Rural Extension and Innovation Groups (GEIT) within the Comprehensive Rural Development Program of the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock Rural Development Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) Mexico of the Extension and Productive Innovation Component resulted in the development of Agricultural Innovation Agendas with the participation of different actors of the priority production chains in different territories of the states of the Northwest region of Mexico in this case the states of Chihuahua Durango Coahuila and Sinaloa. Based on the analysis of the Value Chains innovations are proposed that respond to the systematized problems as well as the general route for their implementation in the field based on the current characteristics of the market and the potentialities and restrictions imposed by the current environment.
