Agricultural Sustainability:Factors and Assessment at Landscape Level

This book describes about the factors of sustainability of agricultural land-uses including biophysical and socioeconomic aspects. Application of Geographic Information System (GIS) in assessing factors of sustainability and sustainability as a whole at landscape level and modelling sustainable land-use options using GIS is explained through a case study conducted in Thailand. Developing models to assess sustainability of agricultural land-uses at individual farm level is also discussed through the case study.
