About The Book

In this book activated carbon was prepared from agriculture wastes (sugarcane bagasse and palm kernal fiber) as a green approach for Iron and manganese removal from water. The obtained carbon was activated using phosphoric acid at 500 ̊C. The removal of Iron and manganese by the prepared sorbents was studied using both batch and column methods. The obtained activated carbons hold promises acting as effective sorbents for Iron and manganese removal from water.
