Canola Brassica napus L. belongs to the family of Brassicaceae and is cultivated in many parts of the world standing out as an excellent economic alternative due to its use in the production of human consumable oils and biodiesel (Miri 2007; Marjanovic-Jeromela 2008). In Egypt Canola has a bright future to contribute in reducing oil deficiency gap between production and consumption of edible oil particularly it could be successfully grown during winter season in newly reclaimed land outside the old one of Nile valley to get around the competition with other crops occupied the old cultivated area.
