Andy Gabe hasnt had an easy life. Shes hardly seen her adored father since her parents divorce when she was ten her half-brother preyed upon her and her first true love has left town. But Andy has inherited her fathers love of life as well as his wanderlust and she isnt afraid to strike out on her own in search of happiness. Her search takes her from the early days of the Gay Liberation movement in Chicago to a Wisconsin farm commune from homelessness on Bostons mean streets to a port in the Pacific Northwest.
