Ain El Hûts El Mahrûça

This publication takes up some of our published works with a view to promoting a contribution to the History and Memory of a locality known for its rich socio-societal socio-cultural and socio-cult past on the one hand and the involvement of activists from the Association of Muslim Ulemas of Algeria (AOMA) on the other hand. Indeed it is a study relating to the Islamist influence of the local population of Ain El Hûts then known and renowned for the origin of the first inhabitants shorfa (nobles) and mrabetine (descendants of local marabouts). In Ain El Hûts maraboutism and Sufism are important. Moreover on the basis of this information we have expressed a wish to publish this contribution and to provide an answer to questions that concern us. For this with a specific objective we are trying to promote the establishment of the Association of Muslim Ulemas of Algeria through the creation of the Shû'bèts Djemiat El 'Ulama El Mûslimin bi 'Ain El Hûts in the locality that we have been studying for several decades.
