الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة انتهت على الأرض لكنّها لا تزال مستعرة هناك، في رأس سهيل الصغير. هناك، تختلط الأحداث والمشاهد والأزمنة، وينطوي كلّ شعور على نقيضه: جدليّة الحبّ والكره تجاه أخيه الكبير، توجّسه الدائم من زوجة ترعاه لكنّه يشعر بأنها تنتظر لحظة موته، حبيبة قديمة لعلّها نسيت اسمه لكنّه لا يزال يستعيدها ويؤرّقه شبحها، يحاول عبثاً البحث عنها ولا يجدها. الصداع مؤلم، والطنين عالٍ. أين يهرب؟ حلمه الوحيد الآن أن يختبئ داخل قشرة بيضة! هناك حتماً ستختفي الأصوات، وسينام أخيراً.The Lebanese civil war may have officially ended on the ground but it continues to rage in the mind of young Suhail. In his thoughts events scenes and timelines blend together and every emotion seems to carry its opposite: a love-hate dynamic towards his older brother a perpetual suspicion of his wife who cares for him but whom he suspects of secretly waiting for his death and an old lover who might have forgotten his name but whose ghost still lingers an elusive figure in his relentless search.His headaches are excruciating and the ringing in his ears deafening. Where can he find refuge? His sole desire now is to retreat into the confines of a simple eggshell! He hopes that there the voices would finally cease and he would find some respite and peace.
