المجنون - Al Majnoun

عميقةٌ وملهمةٌ هي قصائد وأوابد المجنون، مشحونةٌ بمعتقدات البشر وتطلّعاتهم وأباطيلهم. ومجنون جبران انعكاسٌ للبصيرة والتأمّل، فهو الفرد الذي تفلّت من المجتمع فما عاد يحتاج للثورة عليه، وتعلّم أن يقف على مسافة منه من دون أن ينفض عنه العطف والتسامح تجاه الآخرين. مجنون جبران هو إعادة تعريف للجنون، فهو وبكل بساطة يعي طبيعة الأمور أكثر ممّا يلزم، وهو أصدق ممّا يلزم ليغضّ الطرف عن الحقيقة ويخفي إدراكه خلف قناع. وإنّ العالم لا شكّ سيسمه بوصمة الجنون لكنّه في الحقيقة هو الحكيم العاقل.<br>Deep and inspiring are the poems and parables of The Madman charged with human beliefs aspirations and vanities. Gibran's Madman is a reflection of insight and contemplation; he is the individual who broke free from society and no longer needs to revolt against it and learned to stand at a distance from it without shedding compassion and tolerance toward others. Gibran's Madman is a redefinition of madness for he simply understands the nature of things more than necessary and is too honest to turn a blind eye to the truth and hide his perception behind a mask. The world will undoubtedly brand him with the stigma of madness but in truth he is the wise and sane one.
