الشعلة الزرقاء - Al shoʻla azzarka'

الكاتب والفيلسوف والشاعر والرسّام اللبناني (1883-1931) الذي شقّ طريقه من بلدة بشرّي النائية إلى العالميّة، نجح، بإنتاجه الغزير، في إثراء المكتبة العالميّة، وليس العربيّة فقط، عبر كتبٍ دخلت التاريخ بوصفها من كلاسيكيّات التراث الأدبي الإنساني. أصدرت نوفل أعمال جبران خليل جبران الإنكليزيّة الكاملة المعرّبة، التي تضمّ المجنون والسابق ورمل وزبد ويسوع ابن الإنسان وآلهة الأرض والتائه وحديقة النبيّ وكتاب النبيّ - أوسع كتب جبران انتشارًا - إلى جانب مسرحّيتين هما الأعمى ولعازر وحبيبته. في هذه الترجمة الجديدة، أخذ الدكتور نديم نعيمه على عاتقه مهمّة أن يفيَ قارئ لغة الضادّ حقّه في التعرّف إلى عبقريّة جبران المتجلّية في نصوصه الأجنبيّة، فكان حريصًا على أن ينقل الوجه الجبرانيّ بجميع قسماته التي بها أطلّ على العالم الخارجيّ، ومن أجلها أقبل عليه ذلك العالم، وأدخله إليه وأحبّه، كما يشرح في مقدّمته. بالإضافة إلى الترجمة الفريدة التي لا شكّ أغنت المكتبة العربيّة، تعبق هذه الطبعة الفاخرة بالرسوم المرافقة للنصوص وهي جميعها بصورتها الأصليّة، ملوّنة وبجودة عالية. <br>The Lebanese writer philosopher poet and painter (1883-1931) who made his way from the remote town of Bsharri to the world stage succeeded with his prolific output in enriching not only the Arabic library but the world library through books that entered history as classics of human literary heritage. Naufal has published the complete Arabic translations of Gibran Khalil Gibran's English works which include 'The Madman' 'The Forerunner' 'Sand and Foam' 'Jesus the Son of Man' 'The Earth Gods' 'The Wanderer' 'The Garden of the Prophet' and 'The Prophet' - Gibran's most widely spread book - in addition to two plays: 'The Blind' and 'Lazarus and His Beloved.' In this new translation Dr. Nadeem Naimy took upon himself the task of giving Arabic readers their due in getting to know Gibran's genius manifested in his foreign texts ensuring to convey 'the Gibranian face with all its features with which he looked upon the outside world and for which that world received him let him in and loved him' as he explains in his introduction. In addition to the unique translation that undoubtedly enriched the Arabic library this luxury edition is fragrant with illustrations accompanying the texts all in their original form colored and high quality.
