Alex is the long awaited sequel to Master. It is the continuing story of Lila and Alex. Alex is a vampire from 15th century Spain who is a bit of a sociopath with a chip on his shoulder. He saves Lila--a slave girl from a lynching in 1861. A girl he's been obsessed with for more years than he'd like to admit. He is a man who has fallen in love for the first time and has to learn to adapt to the Americas African American women and love in general.
