Alexander and Papa's Number Walk

<p>Alexander and Papa's Number Walk is a heartwarming story about a child and his papa. Alexander and Papa take the reader on an exploratory walk looking for numerals 1 to 10. They discover one-to-one correspondence with objects throughout the environment.</p><p></p><p>The story is inspired by the author's father and ventriloquist doll Alexander. Papa was a former deputy friendly in Racine County in Wisconsin. Alexander accompanied Papa on appearances to schools fairs parades and various functions in Racine Wisconsin. Alexander was a pillar of laughs for children throughout Racine Wisconsin.</p><p></p><p>Papa was able to maintain his role as deputy friendly until he retired. Papa passed in 2015. The doll Alexander spends time with Papa's children and grandchildren. Alexander is set to make appearances with his new book honoring his papa.</p>
