About the Book: The book has been designed for the students of BSc first semester (Core) and BSc second semester (Generic) classes of Indian Universities based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). A large number of high graded ques- tions which appeared numerous times in Indian University examinations and other standard competitive examinations are presented in the book. For instance the questions that appeared in Rajiv Gandhi university (A Central University) under graduate examinations have been particularly marked. At the end of each chapter exercise questions based on solved problems are presented. About the Author: Dr. Gete Umbrey has done MSc in Mathematics in 2014 B. Ed in 2015 from Rajiv Gandhi (A Central) University. He has qualified UGC-CSIR NET in 2015 and CTET in the same year. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Himalayan University Itanagar for two years and joined as an Assistant Professor of Jawaharlal Nehru College Pasighat under govt. of Arunachal Pradesh (till date). He has presented seven papers in national and international conferences. Published four papers and two more are accepted for publication. He has also applied for DST TARE project under IIT Guwahati professor. He is currently a life member of Assam Academy of Mathematics. Also a member of Board of under graduate studies RGU Arunachal Pradesh. He is newly appointed as the Regional Coordinator (Arunachal) for Indian Mathematical Olympiad.
