Her mentors? The Meriweather twins two freshly minted Level 10 Potion Masters. Their nemesis? Chief Inspector of Chester Hollow's Regulations and Town Standards office.</p><p></p><p>Notepad perpetually in hand the Chief Inspector never misses an opportunity to log yet another violation for the twins' potion shop. So when he turns up stiff and cold in a dark alley the Meriweathers are the obvious prime suspects. But they're not alone when it comes to motive and they soon discover their shop wasn't the Chief Inspector's only target.</p><p></p><p>The last thing Carmody wants is to return to the orphanage. With her future on the line she must clear the Meriweather name to ensure her internship doesn't fizzle out before it even has a chance to begin.</p>
