Kelly Halloway was just eleven-years-old when convicted sex offender Everett Campbell abducted her. After nearly eight months of being held in captivity Kelly manages to escape and is by chance found by Lysander Sandy Sinclair out for a joy ride on his sixteenth birthday. Fourteen years later Kelly is living in Chicago and making every effort to keep herself ambiguous in a crowd of strangers. Here she feels oddly safe amongst the faceless multitude of people.
