Raised in California and currently living in the UK his writing has appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle and non-fiction works published by Doubleday Viking and Praeger. The winner of Harvard Universitys F. S. Von Stade Award for short story writing Stephen is a graduate of Harvard and Oxford University and completed his MA in Creative Writing at the University of Chichester.
