Rolf Lambert admonishes Berkeley to accept his philosophy that demands loyalty over excellence to sustain her ability to interact without breeding jealousy in the two-tiered society he wants to establish in America. Berkeley argues back to both her grandfather and her mother about the danger under which her loyal but incompetent trainer places her but to no avail. The heart-breaking result of trainer incompetence damages Berkeley but Lambert’s wealth forces her into the poster child position of secondarily supporting her grandfather’s Rolf Lambert’s false promotion of loyalty over excellence.
