Anthony D. Noriega started his literary career as a high-school student at the Fundación Humboldt (today Instituto Alexander Von Humboldt.) He published his poetry and short stories in Colombian newspapers such as Diario del Caribe where he was a computer consultant for a short time and in El Heraldo both from Barranquilla and in El Espectador from Bogotá and in university newspapers in the USA. He earned a literary diploma from University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV). He also won several literary contests including the national short story prizes from Univesidad del Valle (Cali) Universidad de Cartagena (twice) and Universiad Metropolitana (Barranquilla). He is the author of several books but Alma Mater I is the first to become published. He has been a distinguished member of the International Society of Poetry (ISP) where he won several Editor's Choice Awards through the original poetry.com website. He has also been a systems engineer computer scientist OCP instructor and adjunct professor with focus in database technology mathematics network computing and software engineering. He blogs at Anthony holds an MS Computer Science from NJIT (Newark NJ) where he was also a doctoral candidate in the field an MBA from Montclair State University (Montclair NJ) and a BS in Systems Engineering from Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla Colombia). He has been an information technology consultant for several financial and industry-leading American and European corporations as well.
