<p>I Songul 'Diamond' Oruc am the first Woman World Kickboxing Champion in Australia. In the 1990s women were not permitted to fight in the ring. With persistence and determination I changed laws so that women were allowed to fight in all states and territories of Australia. It was a time when women were not accepted as equals. I proudly held the following Titles: East Coast South Pacific Australian Kickboxing World Champion Kickboxing World Champion Thai-boxing and held United States of America's number one rank in professional boxing. After retirement as a professional boxer and living in Las Vegas my passion for justice law and equality inspired me to pursue a career in law school.
