Alpha Particles Emissions in Some Samples of Medical Drugs in Iraq

Determine radon radium and uranium concentrations in all samples under studies using LR-115 type II detector. Estimate the annual average internal dose (AAIED) and the risk of an excess cancer fatality per million person (RECFPMP) due to ingestion of radon-222 radium-226 and uranium-238 in in all samples under studies Determine thoron concentrations in solid samples under studies using CR-39 detector. Determine radon concentrations in liquid and ointment samples under studies using CR-39 detector. The results have been compared with the limits of international recommended values of safety standards.
