The need for new approaches in ceramic pigment research is evident due to socioeconomic health and environmental conditions as well as the search for improvements in the pigmenting power of known structures. This research therefore aims to develop and characterize ceramic pigments obtained from aluminum anodizing residues together with the valorization of an industrial waste that has important characteristics for its use in the production of ceramic materials. In this context it is very important to develop research that considers the use of waste within a vision that treats these pollutants as important raw materials for noble applications with higher added value aiming at their transformation into goods useful to society and the protection of the environment.
