About The Book

Our study highlights the amylase level present in the patients saliva and blood serum with oral epithelial tumors (benign and malignant). In our study we found that there was a significant increase in the level of salivary amylase in patients with benign tumors as compared to the malignant tumors whereas there was minimum difference in serum amylase level in both the groups. According to the independent sample test salivary amylase level was found increased in maximum number of patients whereas increased serum amylase was seen in less number ofpatients. According to the gender predilection it was equal in benign whereas it was found increased in males in the malignant group.
