An Abridged History of a Landscape

<p>An abridged personalised perception of how humanisation both Indigenous and European have affected the landscape of the Dorrigo Plateau in New South Wales Australia. Together with known historical fact and current knowledge a resident ponders what life was like for Indigenous and white settlers alike. From cedar felling to gold mining the area is rich in history and yet little of the landscape has changed since colonisation. Residents of Eastern Dorrigo still rely on water tanks creeks and rivers with little intrusion from local government. It is a place of serene beauty.</p>
