An Apple a Day

This book is not another history focusing just on doctors nurses and hospitals though they are mentioned here. This story takes a broader look at the range of people who have cared for the sick or injured in Canada's history and who applied both art and science to heal bodies souls and minds in a variety of ways and often without expecting payment. The cast of characters includes shamans mothers chiropractors apothecaries midwives dentists and research scientists among others.
